Eco U products were launched on October 1, 1990, by Kent and Steve Savage with an idea, a garage, and a few grants to draft a business plan. Their idea was to deliver recycled materials-based goods to businesses in central Colorado. In 1993, because there was a steady need for recycled items and several rivals already supplied comparable products manufactured from recycled materials, the founders focused on foodservice disposables and cleaning supplies. As a result, all biodegradable goods from Eco-Products are BPI certified. 2011 another global first, we introduced the EcoLid® 25, the world's first post-consumer recycled polystyrene hot cup lid - and we are gladly phasing out the final plastic lid.
ECO U items are created from a variety of ecologically friendly materials. The one-of-a-kind wooden cutlery is fashioned from plantation birch, a non-splintering hardwood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), to guarantee it is harvested responsibly. The biodegradable cutlery is free of chemicals and, under ideal conditions, totally compostable in 90 days. They have many items like tableware, dining ware, straws, bowls, plates, takeaway boxes, party packs, and festive specials.
These traditional paper cutlery sleeves were created to accompany wooden silverware. The sleeves are biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable since they are produced from FSC-certified paper. The cutlery and accessories are the essences of responsible convenience that can be purchased unfilled or pre-packaged sets. The rates are very nominal for the best products the company gives.
Disposable Tableware made from sugarcane bagasse: Sugarcane bagasse, the name for the sugarcane pulp left over after sugar manufacturing, is used to make the exquisite assortment of sustainable disposable Tableware. This is typically seen as a "waste" product; but, by transforming it into elegant, Outdoor Diningware has "upcycled" the bagasse material into an environmentally responsible product. As a consequence, beautiful dinnerware that is biodegradable and compostable in as little as 60 days in a home composting or even faster in a commercial facility.
The varied collection of natural and ecological wheat straw disposable tableware is manufactured from a byproduct of agriculture. Disposable cutlery is made by utilizing the husk of the wheat plant to create something beautiful and practical out of a traditionally "trash" commodity. The end result is biodegradable and compostable outdoor dinnerware with a vintage and natural feel. These durable plates are waterproof, leak-resistant, and microwaveable. Coffee Disposable Cups and cutlery are made entirely of biodegradable paper cups that have been FSC and FDA approved. The plant-based liner keeps the cups watertight for up to 24 hours. They are available in 4oz (white cups), 8oz, and 12oz sizes and are excellent for both hot and cold liquids. Use them for all purposes and to save the environment.
