Clausthaler Original, the master of beer, is now at RedMart

1972 was indeed a year of pioneers. The same year, a small group of brewers came up with a big idea. They wanted to make a great-tasting low-calorie beer. However, it took a sales executive to come up with an even bolder idea. It was "why to settle for a low-calorie beer when they could create the world's first tasteful non-alcoholic beer?" They put a team together with this vision, and the challenge began. In 1972, Clausthaler began the process that had the potential to change the world of beer forever. Since they didn't like to rest on their laurels and noticed that they struck a chord with consumers in Germany, they didn't limit brewing to themselves. It was then that they decided to share their flagship drink Clausthaler Original with the world. Today, they proudly export to over 51 countries and counting.

Clausthaler Original: The beer that police allows

In 1979, people's general attitude towards non-alcoholic beer was not exactly positive. However, the brand's brewmasters worked diligently to make a statement about their non-alcoholic beverage. With this, the brand introduced its first Clausthaler Original Non Alcoholic Beer. It was a groundbreaking non-alcoholic drink under a different moniker, as a Trojan horse of sorts. The drink was marketed as "The beer that police allow." The beer has a dash of raw wet barley porridge, some grassy hop notes, a bit of Earl Grey tea, and a note of lemon.

This non-alcoholic beer will pour a crisp golden straw body with a good amount of clarity, a not-so-thin snow-white head on top, and a lot of micro-carbonation inside the body. You can leave your head to diminish, but it doesn't go anywhere except painting the side of the glass in bubbles. Made of water, Barley Malt, Hop Extract, and Fermentation Carbon Dioxide, this is exactly the drink you would want if you want to taste the beer without getting tipsy.

Clausthaler Original Craft Beer has a real beer taste that is balanced, fresh, and amazing to drink. Its creamy feel on the palate and pleasing golden colour gives an interesting touch to the drink. With the application of cutting-edge technology, the brand pioneered an innovative method of brewing non-alcoholic beer. After spending decades perfecting the drink into the gold standard of non-alcoholic beer that it is today, the brand's brew masters started expanding the variety of tastes on offer. Thus, it sells its drinks in different flavours such as dry-hopped, grapefruit, and lemon. Each of them exhibits distinct character but tastes wonderful.

Great Beer, Great time

The brand's story is all about inspiration, innovation and determination, which eventually resulted in the world's first great-tasting non-alcoholic beer. People have acknowledged the drink as a truly exceptional non-alcoholic beer since its inception. Therefore, it's no surprise that from its launch in 1979 until today, the brand has remained Germany's most highly awarded non-alcoholic beer. So, if you have still not tried this, buy one and enjoy a lifetime of experience.
